Respondus 4.0 is a powerful software tool for creating and managing exams that can be published directly to Blackboard. While the quiz creation tool is quite reliable, Respondus users enjoy the ability to create assessments offline and an expanded number of question types (including calculated algorithmic formats). And after setup, Respondus enables one-click uploading to Blackboard courses.

KU has a campus-wide license for Respondus, which allows use by KU faculty, staff and GTAs.

Getting Started

Download the Software

Access the KU Information Technology Respondus support page and click the download Respondus Exam Creator link. The license permits faculty, staff and GTAs to install a copy of the Respondus software on both an office and home computer. Please note that providing the Respondus software or the password information to anyone who is not affiliated with our institution is a violation of our licensing agreement with Respondus.
